Johnson|I found this book a very helpful resource in learning how to bead lampshades. The photographs are just gorgeous and the text is helpful. The only thing it didn't help with was how to do the math to figure out your pattern and string length. I had to struggle with that. But this is the most helpful resource I could find for doing this type
Beaded lampshades are not only for Granny’s end tables—you’ll find you can make your own embellished lampshades with a contemporary look. “The book covers in detail all you need to know about the basics—lamp bases, shade frames, shade coverings, globes, and cleaning. Gives instructions for beginner projects (beaded tassels and shelves) and finally for ornate, gorgeous lampshades.”—Beadwork.
