First of all, in the forward of the book, the author says that calling a fairy a "fairy" is insulting to them and they prefer to be called "gentle folk". Right. Then why is the word fairy in the title? This book is more a rundown of current and antiquated holidays with some fairy "lore" thrown in from time to time.
